Commitment Ceremony

This ceremony gives couples the opportunity to pledge their commitment to each other publicly before friends and family.  This public commitment is a powerful statement about a couple’s relationship and their devotion to each other. Couples who wish to register and attend the reception will pay a $20.00 fee.

The 2008 Commitment Ceremony will be an interfaith ceremony featuring Rev. Tessie Mandeville, Rabbi Josh Lesser and other Atlanta clergy and lay ministers. Participants will enjoy a public ceremony then will be able to have a private blessing in the style of their faith tradition if they so desire.

Registration

Pre-Registration is now closed. If you would like to participate in the Commitment Ceremony, please come to the venue on the Gay.com Plaza to register.

Registration will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m., as will the photographer.

Please bring the $20.00 registration fee (cash, check, money order or credit card) with you to register.

Reception Information:

For participants who register, we will have a small reception featuring music and a cake provided by Publix, as well as commemorative certificates.

Eric Himan will be perfoming for our couples at the reception. He promises some Etta James.

Photography:

Moment by Moment Photography will be onsite to take photos of participants. 

The Formal Picture Package is $85 and includes 1 8"X10", 4 5"X7" and 16 wallets.

Formal Photograph sessions will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
